BARKTEX®_Plus-Latex

A rugged, semi-finished textile-like BARK CLOTH^®, wetted with natural latex of the rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis). The highlight: This technical agroforestry textile is 100% derived from trees, without using these themselves. Furthermore, there is no competition with food production areas, but rather, encourages this. The easy three-dimensional deformable material has good abrasion-optimized and dirt resistance. It is water-repellent and yet amazingly breathable. Potential uses include in the footwear and fashion accessory sectors, as well as uses in casing reinforcement, furniture upholstery, and automotive sectors. Our most promising product for emerging markets. Besides its convincing functional properties, the latex-enhanced BARK CLOTH^® also has a unique aesthetic quality that polarizes opinions: You will either love it or hate it.
